This rum is the result of a collaboration between Richard Seal, owner of the Foursquare distillery, and Luca Gargano, owner of the renowned Italian bottler Velier.
This time, it's a blend of three vintages: 2004, 2005, and 2006. The cuvées that make up Foursquare Triptych were distilled, like most of Foursquare's rums, partly in copper double retort pot stills and partly in twin column coffey stills.They were aged either in ex-bourbon casks (2004), Madeira casks (2005), or new American oak casks (2006).
Like most Velier rums, this is a cask strength bottled at cask strength. Bottling was done in November 2016, making this rum 11 years old.
