A wonderful story of friendship surrounds this rum. A story between Adrien, Arnaud, Mathias, Pierre, and Robin, friends of Nicolas, creator of Vagabond Spirits. A friendship that has lasted for over 20 years, even for the bravest! These good friends received a call one day from Nicolas, who invited them to join him on a rum adventure: acquiring and creating a unique, exceptional rum together, to honor their friendship.
Without hesitation, the entire team joined the project: recovering this incredible cask, designing a finish, imagining its design, creating its label, bottling, waxing... each bottle is a part of their story, a shared effort conceived hand in hand. Almost a year was needed to complete this project, so that we can now offer you a rum made by friends, for friends!
Steam Bending? Yes, a new way of designing a barrel, respecting the wood, its essence, and its flavor characteristics. The bending achieved in this way allows for almost no tannin to be extracted from the wood, leaving only the taste of the wood, its soul. A masterful work carried out in partnership with an exceptional cooperage!
