A wonderful story of friendship surrounds this rum. A story between Adrien, Arnaud, Mathias, Pierre, Robin, friends of Nicolas, creator of Vagabond Spirits. A friendship that has lasted for the bravest for more than 20 years! These good friends received a phone call from Nicolas one day, who offered them to join him in a rum adventure: to acquire, to design together a unique, exceptional rum, in order to sanctify their friendship.
Without hesitation, the whole team joined the project: to recover this incredible barrel, to design a finish, to imagine its design, to create its label, to bottle, to wax... each bottle is a part of their story, a common work designed hand in hand. Almost a year is needed to complete this project, in order to offer you today a rum made by friends, for friends!
Steam bending? And yes, a new way of designing a barrel, respecting the wood, its essence, its taste characteristics. The bending thus carried out allows to extract almost no tannin from the wood, in order to find only the taste of the wood, its soul. A goldsmith's work carried out in partnership with an exceptional cooperage!
