The 2004 vintage, reduced and bottled at 47% for this collector's edition, is 17 years old. The rum was aged in ex-bourbon barrels.The 2004 harvest was quite complicated due to repeated rainy periods. Heavy rains in May forced the cane harvest to be suspended. That year was undoubtedly one of the campaigns with one of the lowest yields.
