Rhum Rhum represents one of the most important and visionary projects related to rhum agricole: it was born from the meeting between Luca Gargano and Gianni Capovilla in Marie-Galante, with the goal of producing a great artisanal rum, pure and deeply rooted in the raw material.
Extremely prolonged fermentation, batch distillation in a bain-marie in small copper stills, and aging in noble woods, which have previously contained great French white wines, contribute to defining a unique style with great aromatic complexity.
The Vieux Millésime 2013 bears the year of distillation on the label, reflecting 11 years of tropical aging. The bottling was carried out directly by Capovilla in Rosà, in the province of Vicenza, Italy.
