This new edition of Hampden Estate Pagos rum is the result of a partnership with the famous Bodegas Fundador in Jerez.The idea remains the same as for the previous version: to age a Hampden rum exclusively in prestigious 500-litre sherry casks.After three years, the barrels containing the oloroso were emptied and sent to the distillery.
Hampden Pagos is above all a Jamaican molasses rum "high esters" produced with the following specificities:
wild yeasts for fermentation,distillation in a double-tort copper pot still,spring water for reduction,complete tropical ageing,no additives and natural color.The congeners content is 2304.2 g/hlap with 467.9 g/hlap of esters.
