Caroni Guyana 1996 The Paradise No. 6 - Cask 5619 - continues Caroni's The Paradise series, whose origins date back to the legendary Caroni Ceremony on 12 April 2019. During this event, 26 rum experts - including Luca Gargano - selected the 23 best from the 136 casks remaining from Caroni's last available stock. From this selection, Caroni The Last, Caroni Tasting Gang and Caroni Employees were born; and special casks were then selected to be bottled as Single Cask: The Paradise series.
The cask selected here is 5619, and comes from the stock moved to Guyana in 2009. After selection, it was decanted into three 54-litre glass demijohns - each label indicates the number, #1 to #3.
Only 195 bottles in total are part of this release, bottled Full Proof at 62.4°.
The bottles are blown by glass artist Massimo Lunardon, with labels based on the works of painter Che Lovelace, inspired by the colours of Trinidad and Tobago.
