Distilled in French Savalle Still on September 1991, aged 15 years in tropics and bottled at full proof on March 2006, this is a legendary bottle part of the collaboration between Velier and Demerara Distillers LTD.

Blairmont 15 Year Old Molasses Rum, distilled in 1991 using the four-column Savalle still at the Uitvlugt distillery and bottled in 2006. After Blairmont closed in 1962, Uitvlugt reproduced its style (B brand).

This rum is a blend of seven casks selected by the Genoese merchant Velier, at a time when Luca Gargano had access to the cellars of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) through his friend Yesu Persaud.

These selections greatly contributed to Velier's renown, as did their remarkable Caroni bottlings. Velier no longer has access to DDL's stocks, and all these bottles are among the most sought-after rums by collectors and rum enthusiasts for their typicity and concentration resulting from tropical aging.
