Valinch & Mallet is an independent bottling company founded by two friends from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared passion for whisky, a desire to turn it into a profession, and to share its fruits with everyone.
Davide Romano and his friend select Single Casks of whisky and rum, mature them, and bottle them without chill filtration or added coloring.
This rum is part of the Spirit of Art 2 series. It was distilled at the New Yarmouth Distillery in Jamaica in 1994 and aged for 25 years in a tropical climate.
It was aged for another year in a continental climate. This Single Cask (#435070) produced 310 bottles.
The design is by Chen Li, whose paintings depict floral arrangements that develop into faces, animals, and abstract shapes.
