RA Guyana Rum Uitvlugt -PM- Single Cask #11 is a limited edition single cask produced by the Rum Artesanal brand. This premium rum was distilled from fine sugarcane molasses by the Uitvlugt distillery in October 1993 and bottled in March 2019 in a limited edition of only 324 bottles.
Produced using the pot still method, this rare rum is distinguished by its elegant and complex aromas, the result of long aging. Bottled at cask strength at 52.1% ABV, it is presented in a 0.5 L bottle.

Artesanal Guyana Rum Uitvlugt – A rare rum from a long-closed distillery

The limited edition single cask of RA Guyana Rum Uitvlugt -PM- Single Cask #11 is an absolutely rare rum. It comes from the now-closed Uitvlugt distillery. In the 18th century, this distillery was one of many in Guyana linked to sugarcane plantations. It was named after the plantation's first owner during the Dutch colonial period, Ignatius Charles Bourda Uitvlugt, a Dutchman. However, the distillery was forced to close in 2000 due to consolidation processes. The Uitvlugt distillery's facilities were later acquired by Diamond Distillery.
