A 2016 Tdl matured for eight years, seven of which were spent in the tropics in a former bourbon barrel.
The nose combines ripe mango, fresh pineapple, and mint, supported by a light oily note and a subtle touch of rubber typical of the distillery, with a delicate oaky undertone.
On the palate, it is remarkably dense and rich in flavor, clearly expressing its 65.7% ABV.
This single-barrel release has produced 277 bottles.
