Distilled in February 2003 in Trinidad by Trinidad Distillers Limited from molasses, this rum was first aged for 13 years in a tropical climate in bourbon barrels, before continuing its maturation in Europe for another 9 years. Bottled in February 2025 at 53.4%,without reduction or filtration, it embodies all the richness of a long and hybrid ageing.
This limited edition of only 228 bottles of 50 cl stands out for its refined aromatic profile.
The nose reveals intense aromas of candied fruit, woody spices and vanilla candies, with a touch of sweet caramel. On the palate, density and complexity are expressed on dominant notes of candied fruit, followed by noble wood, sweet mint, then leather and dark chocolate.
The long and harmonious finish leaves an elegant and persistent imprint.
