Nose: An explosion of fruits from all horizons! Red and black fruits with lots of blackcurrant, gooseberry, and strawberry, tropical fruits led by mango and tangy pineapple, all wrapped in a great minty freshness. The woody notes, discreet despite its age, invite themselves into the background, accompanied by spices like cinnamon and a hint of smoke. Upon aeration, the empyreumatic notes appear: hydrocarbons, burnt rubber and vinyl become increasingly present!
Palate: It perfectly matches the nose: a salad of ripe, tangy fruits with every sip. Once again, the royal duo of blackcurrant and menthol leads the way, but the party is full of guests! Mango, papaya, tangy red fruits, sweet spices, and a few hydrocarbons that build in power until they finally take center stage!
Finish: A never-ending story, stretching on and on, letting the dirty notes take over: burnt tire, oilcloth, all sprinkled with camphor and stewed black fruits.
Conclusion: A highly complex profile that will delight thrill-seekers and the most seasoned palates! A rum that deserves to be savored for a long time to discover all its facets!
