Nose: Cinnamon-dusted pineapple en papillote and barbecued chops, Parmesan-crusted rodizio pork on metal skewers with a chrome pot of chimichurri sauce, pineapple and banana fritters in syrup with dulce de leche ice cream, and a pot of rich coffee with hot cream and sugar crystals on the side, a recently polished silver vase of peonies, tulips, and daffodils.
Palate: It coats the mouth and the esters sing with grilled banana, apple slices, and pineapple dipped in thick Manuka honey served in a rubber pot, along with sage, lemon verbena, dark chocolate, coffee and walnut cake, and licorice and blackcurrant bonbons.
Finish: Grandma's gingerbread brushed with butter and dipped in honey spiced with star anise and cloves.
