Spirit Gallery is back with some hidden gems, including this 10-year-old New Grove, selected during a masterclass with the Rhum Club Paris.
Here's Benjamin Guthman's presentation:
“During a masterclass with the Rhum Club Paris, the New Grove team brought us some exclusive finds straight from their cellars. Of the 25 people present, one cask was a clear favorite. Not a single criticism, just heads focused on glasses with broad smiles of approval. New Grove rarely opens its cellars to independent distillers. It's therefore a real privilege to be able to offer it to you. A project by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts.”
This is a cask strength rum distilled in a column still at the Grays distillery from molasses, which has undergone triple aging in new French oak casks, ex-Cognac casks, and ex-Whisky casks, all 100% tropical, for a period of 10 years.
As usual, a 50cl bottle with coasters that reproduce the image of the case.
