This vintage from Saint James is a tribute to the AOC, which celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2017. 1997 was indeed the first year in which the AOC specifications were scrupulously followed.

It was aged in small 200-liter American Quercus Alba white oak barrels, before being slowly reduced and bottled in 2012, all under the supervision of Marc Sassier, the Saint James oenologist (and recently appointed president of the AOC Martinique), and Myriam Bredas, the cellar master.

Each bottle is numbered.
