Rom De Luxe Wild Series Rum No 26 Jamaica is a molasses rum produced by Long Pond, a historic distillery founded in 1753 in Trelawny.
The distillery is well known for its extremely tasty and funky rums.
The rum benefited from a long fermentation period, before being distilled in 2005 in the iron still from the former Vale Royal Wedderburn distillery. It thus bears the VRW mark, which designates a level of 150 to 250 grams of ester per hectoliter of pure alcohol at the still outlet.
It was then aged for 16 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks, entirely in a continental climate.
In April 2022, 271 bottles were produced from this cask, numbered 6.
