Nose: Fine, creamy oak notes, intensely fruity, yet wonderfully mature, without its cask strength of over 66% being overpowering. After some time in the glass, the fruity notes of this rum become even more pronounced.
Palate: Very complex and wonderfully full of maturity, the fruit nuances unfold into delicate notes of raisins, dried apricots, and prunes. We also detect notes of caramel, plenty of wood in harmony with a gentle spiciness of pepper and nutmeg.
Finish: long, dry, and unfolds once again notes of wood, herbs, coffee, and roasted malt.

Jamaica is known as the mecca for rum enthusiasts, with many renowned distilleries and fantastic rum bottlings. However, there are some lesser-known facts.
Jamaica is considered the greenest of the Caribbean islands, home to the famous "Coffee Mountains"—the Blue Mountains in the east. Some of the best, perhaps even the best, coffee in the world is grown there.
But back to the southern regions of Jamaica. Near Old Harbour lies the historic New Yarmouth distillery, whose rare rum is hard to find on the market.
