Founded in 1753 in Jamaica's Queen of Spain Valley, Hampden Distillery is one of the oldest and most renowned distilleries on the island. Known for its heavy, ester-rich rums, Hampden went through some tough times before being bought by the Hussey family in 2009.
This turning point allowed the bottling of its rums under its own label in 2018. Using exclusively pot still stills, Hampden continues to produce authentic and powerful rums, emblematic of Jamaican know-how.
