The Distillery Edition, here in the 2023 version, is a blend of the most representative brands of the unique style of rums from Hampden Estate, a historic Jamaican distillery in operation since 1753. It produces a unique rum, characterized by spring water, prolonged fermentation with wild yeasts, distillation in double-retort copper stills, tropical aging in ex-bourbon barrels, and no added sugar or additives. Located in the Trelawny province, in the heart of Jamaica's grand cru rum, and managed by the Hussey family since 2009, Hampden Estate is renowned for having the finest plots in the country, with one of the highest yields per hectare.
