Through its Rare Single Cask range, Famille Ricci highlights unique casks carefully chosen for their uniqueness. This edition, from the Savanna distillery in Reunion Island, highlights the Grand Arôme style, renowned for its richness and aromatic intensity.
Exceptional origin and production
Distilled in 2019 using a blend of pot still and column still methods, this rum is aged for 7 years in bourbon barrels. This process gives a full structure and a beautiful roundness, while preserving the marked typicity of the distillate. The raw bottling , without additions, guarantees a faithful expression of the original cask.
Intense and textured aromatic profile
The tasting highlights a creamy texture and a characteristic esterized aroma, evolving on notes of strawberry and pineapple, enhanced by a subtle touch of olive. The whole is supported by the roundness brought by the aging in bourbon barrels.
Famille Ricci
Famille Ricci is not a distillery but a French independent rum bottler, founded in 2019 in Mougins (Alpes-Maritimes) by Morgan Ricci, who runs it with his brother Esteban. The house buys rums already distilled and aged in Jamaica, Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago or Fiji, gives them a second maturation in its cellars, blends them and bottles them on site.
