The Rare Collection range is El Dorado's flagship product and fully celebrates the spirit of Guyana, a region characterized by the exceptional quality of its sugarcane, whose history is closely linked to that of Demerara Distillers. All rums in this range are distilled using a single still from among the distillery's treasure trove, are unfiltered, and are bottled at full strength.

This is the sixth release from the El Dorado Rare Collection. Port Mourant & Diamond 2001 is a blend of two rums, distilled in 2001 in the Port Mourant still and Diamond's Savalle column. After aging for 16 years in ex-bourbon barrels in a tropical climate, it was bottled in 2017: a balanced and elegant rum, true liquid gold.
