This 1998 Ben Nevis, selected and bottled by The Whisky Jury, comes from a single cask (#1559) and was bottled at cask strength of 53.8% ABV after more than 26 years of maturation – naturally unfiltered and in its natural color.

On the nose, aromas of mango, apricot, orange marmalade, and honey unfold, underscored by light white wine, malty depth, vanilla, and delicate herbal spice. On the palate, the whisky is oily, elegant, and full-bodied, with notes of dried fruit, toffee, grapefruit, and a hint of tobacco. A fine, almost salty minerality provides balance and vibrancy.
The finish is long, complex and harmonious, with warm wood notes, candied citrus peel and a hint of chocolate.
