Saint James XO Quintessence 6yr 42%

This very old rum, which replaces the 240th anniversary Cuvée of Plantations Saint-James, is made from a blend of vintages over six years old.
This blend, the result of expertise and a large stock of vintages aged in small barrels, was created to capture the full range of aromas of older Saint-James vintages.

This range was developed to bring out all the major families of aged rum, even the most discreet ones (fruit, undergrowth, etc.).

Winner of the Gold Medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris in 2023, this 'concentrate' of aromas from the aging of Saint-James rums is named Quintessence and is enclosed in a glass bottle resembling a prestigious perfume bottle.
